Upon leaving the carpark after our holiday, I inserted the ticket into the machine which attempted to charge me £96! Fortunately the attendant found our booking through the booking reference I provided him which resolved the problem and not through our ca registration plate.
Used this a few weeks ago when flying from Edinburgh airport. When my girlfriend and I arrived we found out the location of the car park had been moved. When we got to the correct car park. we found out our voucher barcode wouldn't work. We were told to park and give our ref code when we came home. When we arrived home at 3.30am we got in the car and pressed the bottom for the barrier to find the barcode still wasn't working and they wanted to charge us £96.00. We pressed for help and the car park attendant had no booking under the ref number. Lucky for us the parking attendant let us through but he told us this is a common thing with this company and told us to not use them again. Since I wrote an email to them nearly a week ago I have still had no reply. So I would stay clear of this service as they are useless.
The email instructions said to park in plane parking which I done. When I returned today and inserted the ticket the balance to pay came as £120 I called for assistance and gave ref number and did get out but I am now unsure if I was even in the right parking place for the week!
After back from my holiday at the gate it ask me to pay 132 pounds more ,i called for help the man said my car in not register in there system ,he asked me for a reservation number which i not got .
The car park I booked has been moved so the information I was emailed about buses when collecting your car is wrong! We had to walk 15 mins at 1am with children. Travelcar need to keep up to date with changes!!!
