If you're flying from Birmingham airport, you won't find simpler parking than the airport's own official car park. Car Park 1 has been awarded the police Park Mark for its security, including CCTV and regular patrols. You can even choose covered or uncovered parking. After that, it's only a short walk across to the terminal to catch your flight; no need for transfers. Pull up to the entry barrier, a camera will read your number plate and the the barrier will open to let you in. Choose a space and park, then walk to the terminal and keep your keys with you.
If the ANPR system doesn't recognise your car press the assistance button and someone will help you. Make sure you've given us the registration of the car you will be parking or you could be charged twice for your stay. If this isn't possible, please give us a call and we'll be happy to help you.
What do you do if the barrier doesn't lift? If the ANPR system doesn't recognise your car's registration, or there are any problems getting in or our of the car park, press the button for assistance and someone will help you.
The gate rate for the car park is currently £33.50 per 24 hours, subject to change.
Transfers There's no need for transfers as the car park is directly opposite the terminal. Directions
Leave the M42 at junction 6 and take the A45, following the signs to the airport. Keep left and take the first exit towards Solihull. Follow the left fork, which will take you back over the A45 and towards the airport. At the roundabout, take the second exit straight on to Airport Way. Keep left and you'll see signs for Car Park 1. Take the third exit right at the next roundabout, signposted for the car park, and the entrance will be on your left.
