In August 2023, London's Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) expanded to include all terminals at Heathrow Airport. This is part of an initiative to help tackle air pollution.
If your vehicle doesn't meet ULEZ standards, you'll need to pay the daily ULEZ charge when driving through Heathrow – make sure you check before you travel.
It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle's road tax is valid, it holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, the driver won't be able to drive it to the car park, and you also won't be able to get a refund.
Most standard cars (without trailers) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). They cannot accept minibuses or vehicles more than 8 passenger seats. You'll be charged extra if your car is too large. To see if the car park can take your vehicle, call them on 01895 544 382.
Returning to a different terminal? You will drop off your car and collect it from the Sofitel T5 car park. If you're returning to a different terminal let the driver know on your arrival and this can be arranged but will be subject to a £20 charge to cover staff costs and car park fees in the relevant terminal' car park. If not requested and the extra fee is not paid upon check in, your vehicle will be returned to the Sofitel T5 car park.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up to midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
If your return flight plans change, please call the car park as soon as you can. They need as much notice as possible to get your car ready so you aren't kept waiting. You won't get a refund for any unused parking time.
