Park in one of the arrivals bays and head to reception to check in. You should have a copy of your booking confirmation with you. You'll need to leave your keys with reception, as your car will be parked for you. You'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it when you return. Then just wait for the shuttle bus to the airport in the waiting area. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.
-
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £15 per day. This is subject to change.
- Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or large vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are under 2.1m, 2m wide and 5m long. If your vehicle is bigger than the maximum (around the size of a Range Rover Sport), take a look at our Larger Vehicles package.
- Please let Airparks know before you arrive if you require any assistance or if your vehicle has been adapted for accessibility purposes.
- If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.
- Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.
- Airparks advise you to check the
Birmingham NEC exhibition centre website to see if there is an event arranged for your day of travel. The NEC attracts a lot of traffic around the area, so you should allow extra time for your journey if an event is scheduled.
Transfers Airparks provides free transfers, 24 hours a day. The buses run every 30 minutes, and the journey to the terminal takes 14 minutes outside rush hour.
